Jo Hart with the help of some of the Committee organised a Sponsored Dog Walk and raised over £150.00 for Heathlands Animal Sanctuary in Royston.
There were 39 sponsored walkers (22 dogs, 17 owners)
It was a very nice 6-7 mile walk with some stunning views over the open countryside of Standon and the surrounding area.
The owners consisting of Members, Trainers and Committee enjoyed the good company of each other while the dogs had a good time running around off lead for most of the walk, some of the braver ones even took a quick refreshing dip in the river.
All dogs were very well behaved and once again a credit to the club.
