Biography
I grew up with dogs in the family and have always enjoyed watching working dogs in action. I joined HDDTS when I got Maisie in 2016 (a crazy puppy who loved life) and we never left!
We progressed through the classes from beginners to improvers and finally intermediate, I loved seeing her progress and she enjoyed learning, ready and waiting every Thursday when it was 'school' night. The next step for me was to become a trainer to help others enjoy training and working with their dogs as much as I had. Having completed courses and undertaken additional study, I achieved the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) trainer accreditation in 2022.
Maisie still loves coming to school every week and learning new things, although now she mostly watches from the side line as I teach classes.
